Ornate Clock, St Michael's Church, Spurriergate, York. This clock is powered by a weight which is winched up to the top of the chruch and takes a week to fall. The name Spurriergate refers to the Spurmakers who worked in this street in the 15th Century. Back to photo gallery 4
