Gourmet Burger Kitchen York

Popped into this place on a whim. Found the staff very efficient even though the place was full. Would recommend this eatery to everyone.

Have sat down and 'taken away'. This is one of those hybrid fast-food operations akin to Nandos. They served us drinks and then we had to order from the till for food which was a bit bizarre but it was the first week of opening so maybe they were experimenting. Given that this is a fast-food burger place it's pretty good. The food is obviously made with superior ingredients and made to order. The portions are generous and the shopfitting is of a high standard. Given that it's fast food I think it's a little too expensive - you can get a comparably good burger in York in a proper table service restaurant at the same money. If you think you'll like the 'experience' or the breadth of the range then it's certainly worth a punt.
