“ I took a friend out for lunch for her birthday to J Bakers. Food was delicious, service excellent. I had a chicken parcel with mushroom sauce which was very tasty. My friend wanted just plain fish, although not on menu it was cooked with no fuss, looked fresh and nicely cooked. Lovely fresh interesting veg. Super puds. ”

The crab starter is to die for and the daily fish and chips can see you with a huge piece of sea bass or monkfish for a very silly (as in low) price. Well worth a visit and excellent value compared to other restaurants in the same street. ”
