“ This restaurant was recommended to us and went for dinner during the last week in August. We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate our anniversary. The staff made us very welcome and were most attentive to us throughout the evening. Our meal was excellent both in the way it was presented and tasted. ”

The staff try hard to make you feel welcome however they seemed very busy and hence started dropping plates on the tile floors. We will return after the summer holidays when hopefully things are quiet. July 09. ”

The view of York Minster was very nice and the pianist was a lovely touch. The waiter did forget to bring our desert which was a shame but we would still love to return next time we visit York. ”

I have Coeliacs but they were more than accommodating and cooked my own pasta without fuss in addition to making sure that everything that I had was suitable. When we booked the table, the man we talked to with an Italian accent was very polite, we asked for a table in the conservatory and he explained that it was a busy night but he'd do his best to get us a table there. We did and it was a great evening food was good service friendly and the atmosphere fantastic. I'll be back ”
