The restaurant offers the best seafood dishes with quality produce from their mussel and oyster fishery at Loch Fyne, Argyll. The menu includes a wide selection of hot and cold dishes including moule mariniere & lobster bisque as well as more adventurous dishes like seared tuna with noodles and chili dressing and Loch Fyne Bouillabaisse. Lock Fyne also have a specials board as well as a number of non-fish dishes catering for vegetarians and meat lovers. What's your rating of Loch Fyne?
Customer Reviews We had a Christmas Lunch and both the food and service were excellent. The wine menu, especially the whites was a little average in terms of selection considering it is a fish restaurant, however, let that not get in the way of the food standard and atmosphere. Great - highly recommend Jan 2008 / 4 Stars - Good
We visited for my birthday and were made to feel very welcome. The best seafood I've had and great value too. Try the platter, a real treat and so much seafood! So fresh! Dec 07 / 5 Stars !!!
I had the chargrilled Scottish halibut with tomato, olive and caper salsa. Cooked to perfection. Loch Fyne also had a good wine list and the sticky toffee pudding is highly recommended. Nov 07 / 4 Stars - Good
I visited Loch Fyne with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago, it was lovely and very pleasant! We had a lovely bottle of champagne with oysters, it was a perfect way to spend our evening and wasn't too expensive either. I can recommend it to all. Aug 07 / 4 Stars - Good

One of my favourite restaurants in York. I had 1/2 a lobster last time I was there and it was only £14 which I thought was really good value. Just wish they did more yummy tiger prawn dishes!!!
