My top tip for a family party, they have a great loft room at the top where we had a lovely time. Bit of a trek down to the loos, but this is a very minor quibble. Food majors on local produce, is carefully cooked even through the menu is quite extensive. They were very good with fussy kids and staff were attentive. added May 08
We have been driving from Liverpool to Meltons several times a year since 1995 and have always found the food, service and ambience to be excellent. We are a pair of foodies and love dining out. We put Meltons on a par with many other top restaurants. added Jan 08 ~ 5 Stars!

Whilst holidaying in York, we called into Melton's Too to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The food was fantastic and so was the service. We were made to feel really welcome, at home and special. Wish we lived closer so we could visit again.
