This is a gorgeous restaurant. I have been to both Russells in York and they are both of very high standard. Although I would say that the one in Stonegate is larger and has a better layout. The two course menu for £12 is great! A full roast dinner with a choice of at least three meats and all the trimmings with either a starter or dessert. Desserts are fresh and homemade! Three course for £15, very reasonable. Great for families and young children and there is also another menu, so roast dinner is not compulsory. Great restaurant overall!!
