Rustique Restaurant & Bistro Rustique is a french restaurant & bistro situated very close to Clifford's Tower and York Castle & The Coppergate Shopping Area. Rustique is an independently owned restaurant looking every bit the French bistro. With wooden floors and chairs, vibrant decor with countryside prints on walls, tables set with fresh flowers, the atmosphere makes you feel nearer to the continent. The extensive menu offers foods from Entres, baguettes and tartes, salads, Plats Principaux and Plats Additional. There is a wide range of wines available.
Located next door to Past Times shop.
Rustique Reviews Food is nice with a varied menu and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a particularly pleasant (and well priced) Christmas Lunch. Perhaps not as 'French' as some french restaurants, (some might say that's a good thing!), but we certainly wouldn't let that put us off returning. Just need to fix the hot tap in the Gents' loo chaps! Jan 08 ~ 4 Stars
