Customer Reviews The staff were friendly. The food was very good, we had fish and seafood and it was of excellent quality. Even though I don't have a sweet tooth I had tiramisu and can highly recommend it. A most enjoyable experience. 6 Dec 2007 / 4 Stars Good!
Visited this restaurant in Nov 2007, the service was good and the food was well presented and tasty. There were 11 of us and all enjoyed our meal. Nov 2007 ~ 4 Stars

Wouldn't have bothered reviewing this but for the fact that someone had already preferred 4 stars. Wake up, this is just another rotten concept foisted upon the rest of the country by faceless prats from London who seem to be devoid of taste buds. Places like this get away with it in York because everyone thinks it should be good. My advice is take your money and burn it. This is garbage. June 2007 / 2 Stars
We have been to Strada York a few times now and feel it is the best restaurant York has seen in a long time! Staff and management make this place, and I was also very pleased to find out that there is a woman head chef!! You go girl!! July 2007 / 5 Stars - Excellent, Recommended

Been to Strada twice. Okay, so you can tell it has that slightly 'chain' feel to it, but the food was lovely, the staff were attentive and pleasant at all times and best of all, as a smoker you can go outside onto the patio at the back with your drinks, under a heated umbrella without being stuck on the street!
