2016: The BAFTA Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF) returns to York this November for its 6th edition. The event transforms the city into a cinema, showcasing the very best short films from the UK and around the world in 15 historic and contemporary locations.
ASFF invites audiences to create their own unique viewing experience, journeying around the city centre to discover the genres of drama, comedy, documentary, artists' film, experimental, advertising, animation, fashion, music video and thriller. There is also a Family Friendly programme for younger audiences.
Alongside screenings, ASFF also hosts 25 masterclasses with leading industry figures from organisations such as Vimeo, Association of Camera Operators (Gravity, James Bond), BlinkInk and many more. These are perfect for those looking to further their knowledge and understanding of film.
