Elvington Model Air Show

After eleven years away from this fine airfield, The Large Model Association in conjunction with the Yorkshire Air Museum are returning on August the 13 -14 to stage, what is expected to be, one of the largest model shows of 2011. Pilots from throughout the UK and Europe are being invited to come and display their aircraft and, with 2 miles of superb runway, some full size participation is also planned. Camping will be allowed on the airfield from Friday through to Monday at the expected cost of £35 for the weekend while free access to the museum will be allowed from the airshow over the weekend.
