'Music to Hear AND See' presents works that combine aural and visual elements in performance. This is an ambitious night that pushes the space at Miller's Yard to the limits, we have:

‘BASTARD STRUCTURES II’ by Theo Burt and Tim Wright
WARNING this work includes strobe lighting!
A new collaboration between artists Tim Wright and Theo Burt, Bastard Structures II uses digital sound linked with geometry and strobe effects projected over a corner to create an intense and perception-distorting show. These digitally projected sonic and visual structures appear to split over the geometry of the room - a strange and confusing exploration of the materiality of sound and light. www.timwrightmusic.com www.theoburt.com

'SEE SCORES' by Peyee Chen (soprano voice) and Mick Lynch (film) - 20th century quirky vocal scores by Berio, Aperghis and Gee, presented as live vocal performance and film so the audience can hear And see them. www.peyeechen.com

LIVE IMPROVISED DANCE AND MUSIC - Leeds based Mathilde reach beyond our usual experience of improvisation… though they are made up of three professional dancers and two professional musicians, they have forged a relationship in which the dancers are able to transform into musicians and vice versa http://mathildedance.blogspot.co.uk
