ASFF 2017 took place in the City of York.
The Aesthetica Short Film Festival is a celebration of independent film from across the world, and an outlet for championing and supporting short filmmaking. The programme offers a rich selection of films from across the world, in genres including advertising, artists’ film, music video, drama and documentary. Taking place across the city of York, ASFF will screen films in a number of locations all within walking distance of each other, combining the historical with the contemporary. 'Made in Yorkshire' will not be exhibiting in the Guildhall this year as it is closed for renovations. Instead we will be running the Yorkshire Yuletide Village within the Jubbergate Forecourt area (adjacent to the Shambles Market). You will see the usual Made in Yorkshire exhibitors selling a variety of unique handmade art and design. A Yorkshire cafe will serve festive treats too! (www.madeinyorkshire.org.uk)
