York Knavesmire. The Festival will be sited in the new purpose built Course Enclosure directly opposite the Grandstand on the other side of the race track.

Organised by Campaign for Real Ale York.
More than 400 real ales, more than 100 ciders! Housed in a spacious marquee with ample seating, a huge beer garden and a wide selection of food stalls. Thanks for sharing our poster!

Sister event to the annual Food Lovers Festival is Malton Food Lovers Markets which take place every second Saturday. Lots of stalls selling local produce, live chef demo, free entry, free parking. Located inside and outside the Milton Rooms, with a Harvest theme. All dates are for the second Saturdays in the month, with the exception of May the Malton Food Lovers Festival.

VW aircooled exclusive is to be held in York. It will be held at Escrick Park Estate, just outside York. More details to follow both here and on our website It is an aircooled only show, even though the actual show is aircooled, everybody is welcome to camp, for those who want to stick with the theme there is an aircooled only camping area. As well as all the VW stuff, we lots of live bands playing throughout the weekend, some great food lined up, a vintage stalls, real ales, cocktails and ciders, a dog show and all sorts of charity things going on! If you would like to sponsor the show in some way then please get in touch. A great day out for all!

Heritage Open Days celebrates England's fantastic architecture and culture by offering free access to properties that are usually closed to the public or normally charge for admission. Every year on four days in September, buildings of every age, style and function throw open their doors, ranging from castles to factories, town halls to tithe barns, parish churches to Buddhist temples. It is a once-a-year chance to discover hidden architectural treasures and enjoy a wide range of tours, events and activities which bring to life local history and culture.

A huge range of flowers, gardening accessories, summerhouses, statues, ceramic pots, tools & much more. A grand day out whatever the weather. For many exhibitors, the two Harrogate Shows in April and September mark the beginning and end of the UK's Horticultural Show season, taking in Chelsea, Hampton Court and Tatton Park on the way. Around 90 of the country's leading horticultural nurseries will be competing for medal award cards and silver trophies and selling from their plant markets. All are specialists in their field and happy to share their knowledge with visitors.

The Brownlee Tri North will take place again in September, and will be hosted by Harewood House near Leeds. Sitting in the heart of Yorkshire, close to where the brothers grew up and now live, Harewood provides not only a stunning setting, but the opportunity for entrants to ride the same roads of the Tour de France. This exciting triathlon, brought to you by Alistair and Jonny Brownlee will be an experience to remember and a fitting finale to the triathlon season, with a picturesque course, entertainment village and excellent spectator viewing points.
