York Green Festival

York Green Festival is a celebration of sustainable living, campaigning for change and a better way of living.

Join us on Sunday 6 September from 11am to 5pm in Rowntree Park for the 2009 York Green Festival. The free event will feature:

* live music on two stages
* speakers on green themes
* a programme of 30-minute workshops
* children’s activities
* a healing/alternative therapies area
* a solar-powered cinema
* stalls of local green organisations and businesses
* vegetarian food
* a cycle-powered Scalextric
* a clothes swap
* and much more!

This year’s head-liners are Glastonbury regulars, eco-folk legends Seize the Day.
