Festival dedicated to all things guitar related, with workshops, masterclasses+concerts over the weekend.

Gary Ryan, respected virtuoso solo guitarist will perform a solo recital on Saturday 30th July.
On Sunday 31st July the York Festival Orchestra [leader:Dara de Cogan], conducted by Stuart Nettleship, will give the World Premiere of "Three Ages of a City",a concerto for Guitar+Orchestra composed by the international renown composer Peter Byrom-Smith.The soloist will be John Mackenzie,to whom the piece is dedicated.
