A reprise of the great Latin Festival from 10 years ago, this FREE event promises to be electric!

* Live music, dj's, dancing on the streets, stalls, street food etc.
* Demonstration of Capoiera, a Samba show at 7.30pm
* Headline band MAMBO CON RUMBA play 3 sets at 3.30pm, 5.30pm & 7.45pm
* Supported by El Piano, 1331, Nineteen, Oscar's, Mr Chippy, Vudu Lounge, Bobo Lobo, La Tasca, Kennedy's, Stonegate Yard, Wildes
* All open for food & drink on the street during the Festival hours NB EL Piano closes at 5pm
* Children's activities

On the same day York hosts a series of city centre cycle races from 5pm - 8pm so pedestrian access to the Quarter will be at designated crossing points. One of the main crossing points is at Church Street/Swinegate intersection. At this point here will be Latin Festival stewards and Race security staff throughout the events.
