Review: Our visit to Hallowscream... “ Hallowscream at the York Maze turned out to be fairly unique 'date night'; a fairground-style 'fun house' for grownups, with a scary slant, brought about by chainsaw wielding clowns, corn hopping werewolves and lots of other spooky-cool costumes. Well organised and an evenings worth of entertainment, if you're heading over for some freakish fun the RIP tickets are great for queue jumping ahead of the terrified teens, and the tasty locally sourced, reasonably priced refreshments, are worth a try too! This seasonal event is definitely worth a visit to get you in the 'spirit' for Halloween ;) waa ha ha haaaaaa! ”
“ We loved HallowScream at York maze! Part immersive theatre, part endurance event (for your nerves at least). I may never forget the chainsaw wielding clown or being chased through a moon lit corn field by werewolves. Recounted our adventure the next morning, it really felt like a half remembered nightmare, and still does. Totally surreal and totally worth experiencing, if you dare. ”
