York Castle Area

This panoramic photo shows Clifford's Tower, which has excellent views from the top. Also here is the Castle Museum (well worth a visit) and the York Crown Courts. Click parts of the photo for more information. In February the Viking Festival have battle re-enactments here. There is a public car park next to Clifford's Tower, but this can get full at weekends. The York Hilton Hotel is located next to the tower. Also.. The Olive Tree Restaurant at 10 Tower Street.
