After a round of footgolf in Skelton we didn't have to travel far to this new restaurant. We enjoyed sitting out in the sun, the staff were very friendly and service quick. We ordered Hickory's Pale Ale (very nice!), steak-n-eggs, The XXL Ultimate Muffin and The Hog & The Hen. All really tasty! Its a fairly big menu so will have to return to try other tempting dishes. We are an independent company owned by Ben Williams, formerly of In Vino Veritas in London and we have head chef Matthew Leivers formerly the head chef of the Michelin starred star in at haarome.
We have sympathetically restored one of the original factory buildings and now offer an all day menu with an Italian influence and then a more upmarket small plates menu on an evening. We are adding a deli and wine shop to the building.
