Family Fun in Full Bloom – Kids Days at Yorkshire Lavender This Summer
Yorkshire Lavender is set to host a series of fun-filled Kids Days this summer, transforming its beautiful lavender fields into a haven of family entertainment and outdoor adventure.
Dates for Kids Days:
• Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th July, 10am- 5pm
• Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th August, 10am – 5pm
These special weekends promise fabulous family fun for children and grown-ups alike. Alongside the award-winning gardens, play areas and iconic lavender fields, Yorkshire Lavender will be buzzing with activities designed to keep little ones engaged and entertained.
Highlights include:
• Face Painting
• Inflatables
• Classic Garden Games like Giant Jenga and Connect 4
• Lavender-Themed Fun, including Snakes & Ladders and the popular Lavender Maze
• Potting Shed Activities – get green-fingered with fun gardening crafts
• Food truck
• Tipi
• Live Entertainment – including an adorable Petting Zoo in July (no dogs allowed on site on this date) with rabbits, guinea pigs and alpacas and Circus Performance sessions in August
Families can also relax with refreshments from EJ’s Tearoom, offering light lunches, cakes, drinks, and delicious ice cream to fuel the fun. The lavender shop and plant nursery will be open throughout the events, ideal for picking up a seasonal gift or a plant for your garden.
