York Chocolate Festival
1st to 5th April 2026
The City of York, a destination rich in chocolate heritage, will be transformed into a chocolate lover’s paradise. The highly anticipated Chocolate Festival promises a five-day celebration, inviting attendees to immerse themselves in a variety of delectable activities, with many being complimentary.
Chocolate Festival Market.
- A selection of chocolatiers, bakers, confectioners, and everything in between! Even some traditionally savoury products with a sweet twist will be showcased at the festival market, from independent traders most local to the area.
York Easter Egg Sculpture trail!
This free community egg trail will be running throughout Easter across York city centre from the 28th March until the 12th April 2026. Families will be able to pick up a trail map to find the locations of 15 egg sculptures, making for a free, fun family day out to discover some local, independent businesses.
Chocolate Festival Taste Trail
A self-guided walking trail around the city of York and an opportunity to try samples from some of the best of York’s food scene.
