York National Book Fair 2010

From a modest beginning with just 20 exhibitors at The White Swan Inn in York in 1974, the York Book Fair has grown into the largest, and many say friendliest, rare, antiquarian and out-of-print book fair in the UK. Held over two days, around 200 of this country's leading book sellers offer for sale a breathtaking diversity of books, as well as maps and prints, ranging in price from just a few pounds up to tens of thousands of pounds.

Facilities on site include: Disabled access, lifts, a cafe serving light refreshments and lunches, free parking and a free shuttle bus by Hutchinsons running to and from York Station at 20 minute intervals starting at 10:30 am on the Friday morning.

The fair opens at 12 noon on Friday 10/09/2010 until 7pm, and is open on Saturday 11/09/2010 from 10am-5pm. www.yorkbookfair.com
